Zapier connects apps together. BBase.pro is the app — with a built-in database, custom forms, automation, and reports all in one platform that your whole team can use. Free.
These two tools solve fundamentally different problems. Understanding the difference will help you choose the right one — or decide you need both.

Zapier was built to solve one specific problem: the thousands of cloud applications businesses use do not talk to each other natively. Zapier sits in the middle and says "when X happens in app A, do Y in app B." It is excellent at this. If you need to copy a new Typeform submission into a Google Sheet row and simultaneously post a Slack notification, Zapier is a strong choice.
But Zapier does not own your data. It does not provide a database, does not give your team a place to work, and does not build anything — it passes data between tools you already have. Every automation you build in Zapier assumes the actual application is built somewhere else.
Zapier's pricing model charges per task — each action that runs inside a Zap consumes one task. A three-step automation that fires 500 times per month consumes 1,500 tasks. Teams with active workflows quickly exhaust the free tier's 100 monthly tasks and find themselves on paid plans at $19.99 to $49+ per month just for the automation layer. Those costs do not include the underlying apps the Zaps are operating on.
BBase.pro takes a different approach. Instead of connecting external tools, BBase.pro is the tool. You define your data model directly in BBase.pro — your tables, your fields, your relationships. Then you build the pages, forms, and reports your team uses every day. Automation is built into the platform itself, not bolted on from outside.
When a record is created or updated in BBase.pro, your automations trigger immediately within the same platform. You do not need Zapier to "connect" BBase.pro to itself — the database, the forms, the automation engine, and the reporting layer are all the same system.
If your business uses BBase.pro as your primary data system and you also need to push data into a third-party platform — say, syncing an order from BBase.pro into your accounting software — BBase.pro's API can be the trigger source for a Zapier workflow. Many businesses use BBase.pro as their core internal application and Zapier for the narrow job of syncing outbound to specific external services.
BBase.pro gives you the database, forms, automation, and reports your business needs in one free platform. No per-task billing. No subscription required.
